Unlock the mystery please?

So after a stop / start couple of months of operations and colds I’m finally back at it. Completed w7r1 and am committed to finishing this programme before Christmas. I have some new running shoes (Mizonu) after a gait analysis and have started running outside rather than on the treadmill. Outside is SOOOO much better! I still lack confidence and think I’m too slow / nit doing it right so wondered if anyone can recommend a good running book for idiots like me. I want to know stuff like what to wear, why do I need running knickers, should I wear special socks, what exercises should I do before/ after, what strength work should I do at the gym?? I really want to do this! I want to have finished the prog and then worked my way up to a 5k for new year if possible. Any advice would be fab xx

Check out "The Running Channel" on Youtube....it will answer all those questions and more....I love it and find it motivating.

I enjoyed the book by Alexandra Heminsley "running like a girl" and currently reading "Born to run" by Christpher McDougall. Enjoy finishing the program...its fabulous.

They are not the ones I had on the other day which apparently decided they couldn't stay up 🤣 thank goodness for lycra leggings

I love your enthusiasm but wonder if you’re overthinking this. Shoes are the exception but as for other clothes I just go outside and run! One foot in front of the other and have fun! Good luck.
