Hi all, I find my first run after my two days rest the best and easiest run of the week. By the time I get to run three that week it’s not so pleasant.

Just a thought, but have you thought of taking 2 days rest between all your runs rather than one, so your legs have more time to recover? Lots of people find they run better with a slightly longer break between outings.

That's a really good idea! I think I will try that as I feel better after 2 rest days too. Do you know, the simplest ideas are sometimes the best - don't know why I never thought of it.

Once you've graduated I guess you can run when you like. How about taking up cycling or swimming to exercise other muscle groups between more spaced out runs?

Laura doesn't actually say that you have to run every second day during the program - I did it in 16 weeks because my body needed sometimes up to 4 days recovery - usually at least 2.

Not what you're looking for?
