Week 3 run 2 - tick!

Not too bad.. I surprised myself again by being able to get up out of my bed this morning before work and get out to do this run!

All this must be making a difference to me, not physically yet but mentally! I returned to work on monday after annual leave and instead of the usual immediate feeling of overwhelming stress the minute (and even the night before) I go back, this time was different. All my colleagues have noticed I'm calmer and strangely enthusiastic (I'm a mental health nurse for older people). I have even been offering to do extra work!

I think I've been taken over by gremlins..... tee hee!

Both exercise and diet are amazing for improving mental health, sad not much is "prescribed" other than medication, sure we are missing so much benefit, get the older people moving and see what happens LOL, u will be out of a job!!

Hi JoolieB1!

It's silly isn't it?! I run an anxiety mgt course but haven't been able to practise what I preach - not anymore! Perhaps they will coach me next!!!
