So tomorrow morning is supposed to be wk5 R3 - but forecast is for torrential rain. I usually run at 5.45am but am considering running this evening about 9pm instead. Which means it will have been 39hours since I last ran.
I know everyone said have today off - but circumstances dictate that I won't be able to do my run in the morning. is this justification to break the rule of having a day off in between?

All the rules are flexible. If you're feeling good, there's probably no harm in giving this a go, and then taking a good recovery break during that rain. If you're feeling fit and limber, what's the worst that can happen? A little failure? You're not scared of failure are you?
(Yes, that's more "sample motivational talk" than perfectly honest appraisal. We're all afraid of failure. Much more than we should be. But we need to be more afraid of failing to tolerate some failure than of failure, so why not just affirm your future "failure-robustness" now, before it's perfectly formed? Take some of your future venturesomeness out on tick, and use it to declare your fearlessness for fear (uh oh, better not do one of those again). ... So: You're not scared of a little bit of failure are you? Course not.)
Not scared of failure lol what's the worst that can happen - apart from ruptured Achilles - been there before!!
Lol I'm gonna do it about 9pm so that its quiter though - that's why I run at 5.45am - so I don't need to speak to anyone! Living in a small village has its downside. Wish me luck! 20 minutes?? Waaaahhhhh!!!!
