Feeling very tired today so hope I can find the energy. I feel I should just go and get it over with and hopefully will be able to complete it. Perhaps a banana before I go?

Go! Save the banana for when you get back. You will enjoy it all the more once your blood is pumping oxygen around your system.

Have 2 bananas. One now and one when you get back :) Good luck

Have you completed the run yet??? :-P

Completed the run and feel great. Legs were a bit sore but pushed myself to go slightly faster for the last couple of running minutes just to see if I could manage... and I did! It didn't take as long to cool down when I finished.

Can I just ask why it's best to eat the banana after the run? I felt like I needed the energy before I went so wanted something. Does everyone think I should maybe go out without eating and then leave the banana until after?

I often lacked energy in the beginning, but found that the further through the programme I got, the more energy I had in general. As for banana consumption, I eat after but thats because if I run with food in my belly it makes me feel queasy. I don't know if that's what you should do, it just works for me.

Yep, same here, I feel queasy too if I run with food in my tummy, even if it was consumed a couple of hours earlier, as per the general advice...

Eat whenever suits you, just don't eat any more because you have started this training plan, you really don't need extra calories... yet!
