Well the team Reid support crew were on wheels tonight. With one ear phone in listening to Laura telling me how well I was doing (LOL) and the other ear trying to listen to the boys as they were cycling off ahead on their bikes, once again it made for an interesting run!
They didn't stop talking to me and asking me things all the way round, even when they were 50m in front and I couldn't hear a flippin' word. At one point I just wanted to shout "shut up, I'm waiting for Laura to tell me I'm half way" but bless them, how I wish I was still a child with so much raw energy and enthusiasm for life.
Anyway, the support crew did me proud. We made it round the circuit with perfect timing and the run is completed. Four runs until graduation, I can almost taste the victory, mwah, ha, ha! (That is supposed to be an evil laugh just in case you were wondering...)

When the 6 year old started asking me about how the sun and rain work (i.e. the water cycle) at around minute 23, I did fob him off with an "it's quite complicated so I'll explain when I've stopped running, pant, pant, wheeze, wheeze." Must remember to fulfill that promise!
Well done - great support crew! I've not had the pleasure of taking my support crew out...did try to run with our 16mth old dog but he didn't really get the point and was a total liability! Graduation is creeping closer, keep up the good work!
Ha, ha - in another life (i.e. twenty years ago) I used to try and run with our dog. She too was a total liability and I ended up running then taking her for a walk because it was far less stressful!
Mmm - I already have my eye on the C25K+ program! If I stay on track I will graduate the day after my birthday! So, I think pizza with the boys and a bottle of our own montepulciano d'abruzzo wine with some friends could be a birthday / graduation celebration, followed by a weekend off!
