Last night was my first run of week 8 and I was a bit anxious before hand. But I put my faith in Laura and the programme and went for it. I was so pleased I made it round in one piece.
I was shouting at Laura in my head to say "slow down, that's it for today" during those last 5 minutes.
Once I finished I checked my watch and i saw i'd actually run 3.08 miles which is 4.95km (according to my conversion app). In the laws of mathematics we can totally round that up right?! i'm a tad gutted that I was so close to 5km (only 50 metres off). I finished on a downhill so in the worst possible scenario I could have just rolled 50 metres. Ha ha (just kidding).
I also connected my heart monitor for the first time too (not sure yet really how the data will help me)
