First post cold run

I decided to get back out after recovering from a cold , and decided to tackle the C25K+Stamina podcast.

I knew I would not do the whole thing as I did not want to push it and set myself back.

I set off on the 158bpm section and was surprised that it was a slower pace than I normally move at, but I did find it allowed me to lengthen my step and it seems to have increased my pace as I managed my fastest 1km speed so far.

I ran for 25 minutes and stayed at the 158bpm pace throughout and was quite relaxed about the whole thing. Laura was right there encouraging me at the right times.

  • How did you manage to stay at that pace? By rewinding the podcast? Anyhow you did it, you got a whole fistful of PBs, blimmin' well done!
