I've been gone a while, but I missed you guys. I was doing fine, following my wee plan for a 10k. I thought cause I'm a graduate I'd moved on and didn't really need the forum, I was going it alone! but then I went on holiday to france, camping for 2 weeks with a four year old and my long suffering husband and I struggled to get many runs in, certainly not my three a week and definitely not on the plan! The funny thing was we did another very short camping trip this weekend at the Lake District, and I saw my next door neighbour come back one morning after being out for a run, she had two small children with her camping as well and I thought how I've let you all down and how reading your posts actually helped tremendously with my motivation. I thought how motivated she must be and perhaps she's a fellow c25ker as well and then I decided to come back to the fold to remotivate myself. You'll be glad to know I did get out this morning for a run and I completed the training run so hope that's me back on track, but I could still use your support out there..........
I've missed you crazies!: I've been gone a while... - Couch to 5K
I've missed you crazies!
Hey Sparky, great to see you back and read your chirpy descriptions again. You're allowed to move on but still occasionally pop in to say hi
Welcome back Sparky!
I'm afraid to tell you that your punishment for abandoning us must be to ask your neighbour to look after 4year-old whilst you go out for a long run. Then, you have to come back and write a nice long post all about it, what gear you took, what you had to eat and drink before and after the run, who you met en route, any wildlife you saw, photo either of your trainers or something you saw etc etc. You know what I mean. Only then can we forgive you and welcome you back into our happy community
I suspect the tags in your post tells all the story!
Welcome back. We missed you. Please don't leave us again.
Welcome back! Even though I graduated over a year ago I just can't drag myself away from this super awesome forum 😎
Hehe we become a bit addictive don't we.😀. Well done for getting back on track. I have no idea where I would be without the forum for my running motivation.
welcome back sparky! this forum does work wonders and we get sad when people go! we can offer loads of motivation and ask for lots too when we need it, its a win/win situation/forum!
Cooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, welcome back. France! Lake District! Lucky you! I can understand not running round the lakes cos it's a bit hilly int it
Oh well, you're back now. Got any goss?
Welcome back. The forum is a bit like this running thing. We might take a break every now and then but it's always there for us and we'll always come back to it.
Welcome back, Sparky. Now lace up your shoes and repeat after me, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home." (home, of course, being this forum)
