Week 3 done!

I am not feeling as if week 4 is actually possible because I have just scraped through week 3 with no stops and a lot of puffing and panting lol

I'll be doing my first run of week 4 on Saturday so hopefully I will surprise myself again!

Stick with it. The program will get you there and increase your stamina with each run.

I'm sure you will get on perfectly with week 4

Ha. No doubt you'll be feeling the same about week 5 and week 6 and week... Well, you know the rest. It's called becoming a runner and you're well on the way. Good luck!

Week 5 run 3 is the best high of C25K - it changes you. Keep faith, you'll be fine. Tell us about it, please!

W5R3 seems to fill most people with trepidation but W6 can often be a kicker in a totally different way. Let us know how you get on!

Everything's designed to build on what you've done so far, so if you've got through week 4 fine, then you'll get through week 5 fine too. I totally sympathise with the feeling of just scraping through, but remember your body's adapting. That feeling of struggling to finish your runs means you're pushing your stamina further. Just remember to keep your pace slow and build up as it feels comfortable. Best of luck!

puffing and panting is fine lol well done on your progress so far ,

I have felt like that every week. Just finished w4r2 and can't believe it is possible. You can do it!

Look where you have got to in just a few weeks and start believing in your own amazing abilities. Treat each run with respect, but certainly don't fear a run, that will cause tension which will not allow you to perform to your best. Relax, in the knowledge that the worst thing that can happen is that you may need to repeat a run and there is no shame in that.

The programme prepares you. Believe. You WILL do it!!

Thanks everyone 😃

I will have to imagine you all cheering me on, ignoring those sweat patches under the boobs and bum cheeks.

Surely there's a few more sweaty bums left in me! Lol

I seem to recall I struggled with W3 so was nervous about W4 but it was fine.

As we all say, take it steady, follow Laura to The T, and you'll be fine - you're doing great, honestly you are.

Take care :-) xx
