Did it!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!

I feel awesome! Two lots of 8 minutes! Amazed I can do this now :-) 4 1/2 weeks ago I couldn't walk for 8 minutes without severe back pain now I'm running and not getting the back pain! I feel epic!

Run3 next - 20 mins - daunting but I really think I can do it! I'm really looking forward to it :-)

Yay - cheesy grin firmly in place!

Well done! You will be fine on your next run, the programme has already got you ready for it. Enjoy, and imagine how you'll feel after you've ran for 20 mins!

Thanks Rob, I am believing I will do it, I feel really buzzed and full of energy, I jog very slow so I don't think I'll do 5k in 30 minutes any time soon but I can really see myself jogging for 30 minutes in my minds eye now which I'm sure couldn't 4 and a half weeks ago!

well done I'm due same tomorrow , found w5 r 1 easier than expected, not SURE about 8 mins and DREADING 20.. although I guess I break it down.. its like 10 minutes out.. then turn round and come back... but cant see how i can manage that!

Aww well done. Iv just started week 6 today. I was dreading the 20 mins but was surprised to find Laura was right and I was able to do it. Was tough but I was pleased to have completed it. Positive thinking all the way X

Everyone feels the same i guess..

OK good luck with wk 6... reading the posts here previously... it can be a difficult one.. SEEMS easier in some ways and causes many to ' slip up'. SO keep up the focus and I am sure you'll go great!! you have ( after all) RUN for 20 minutes already!!

Laineydglm profile image
LaineydglmGraduateβ€’ in reply toAnaverageman

I felt the same before the 8 minutes then I found I could go longer than I thought, just like Laura said! So if I can do that and she says I can do 20 mins next then I'm now believing that :-)

And if I can do it you can too!!! Enjoy your next run!

never ENJOY the run... always only enjoy the feeling after.. but I know what you mean.. RARELY end thinking, hey that's great i could run for longer... usually its ' thank fΒ£ck for that its over', ( which kind of disturbs me too in a way, that i am SOO unfit!!) but one at a time..

If i can do 1 I can do 1 1/2,

If I can do 1/2 I can do 3,

If I Can do 3 I can do 5,

If i can do 5 I can do 8,

If I can do 8 it SAYS I can do 20... ( where did THAT come from?)

I remain to be convinced... but we'll see...

I know it seems mad lol, I always feel the same way, like Laura's saying slow down just in time and like I couldn't possibly go longer, but then the next run I do go further like she says! So mad or not it sure seems to be working!

So tomorrow morning I will be running 20 mins! 😁 I'll let you know how it goes!
