I did my second run today and feel pretty good. I'm very slow and it's a struggle to breath but I'm very excited about learning to run. I've never really played sport or put myself out there .
I feel like running will teach me to push myself and see what I can do.All the posts I've read on here have been supportive , makes it easier to talk to people who are doing the same thing.

Don't worry about being slow. Slow is good and will get you through the programme injury free. Really well done in getting started as that's the hard bit. Keep posting here and tell us how you're getting on and, lastly, welcome to this great community!
I was exactly the same 5 weeks ago! Struggling to breathe after 60 seconds and here I am on wk5 doing 8 minute runs! I dont think I can run any slower but it doesnt matter how slow you are, its completing each task that counts. Keep going, you can do this!
