Just back from first run. Not too bad. Right leg a bit tight. Hardest part (getting out there) over with now.

The first step is indeed the hardest - the one over the doorstep. Well done, and enjoy the programme :D

You live on the Isle of Wight? You lucky thing. What a lovely place to run...

Yes it is. I live in Cowes, a stones throw from the harbour so most of my runs will be along the sea front. I feel lucky to live here.

Hi Paul

Found it really easy to follow and have not run for nearly 30 years was easier than I thought but I am sure as run times increase it will get harder but I am going to stick with it

Seeing other post on here also helps knowing others have been there had problems but done it

Well done again

Shannie (AKA Sharon)

Yes definitely helps seeing other peoples comments on how it is going. And also encouragement from others is good. My sister has graduated and recommended it to me. Hadn't run since 2007 until this morning. Felt good to be back out there. You will be fine i'm sure. I'm determined to do this now as have signed up for the great south run in October!

Well done Paul. Don't forget to stretch after every run as this helps with the stiffness

and a foam roller works wonders on tight muscles.

Yes i did my stretches and also a 5 min walk at the end. Will have to invest in a foam roller then :) . Thanks for the advice .
