I completed a fantastic run tonight (I'm still on holiday in lanzarote). I ran the 3k out to the lighthouse. Meandered about and watched the sun set, then ran back and a bit more to complete 8k in total. I felt like I could run forever, no panting or having to push myself, but after a previous post about 10% I decided not to push it. Just as well cos after my shower I found it really difficult to walk to dinner. My legs were on fire. Then some muscle relaxant (2 Sambucas and a shot of straight absinth when I got back to the room) and a lovely hot bath. I'm suppose to walk into town tomorrow - we'll see - but I'm sceptical. The incentive (besides booking a trip to fuerteventura) is a shop that sells running gear and in particular under armour, which I "quite like". "quite like" is ray speak for "I'm obsessed with".

The absinthe will clear out those nasals! It goes deeper than that so your lungs will be in better fettle to tackle that walk into town. Nothing can stand between you and the Under Armour shop!

I did indeed make it to THE SHOP. I bought shorts. Couldn't decide on blue or orange so got both. Still looking for a compression shirt - it might still be open when I get back from Fuerteventura tomorrow. Time for 1 more long run on Friday evening.
