Well today was the day for the above run. But I really felt I just wanted to run today without Laura telling me how long I'd done etc. I felt that was all I was really focusing on. So asked hubby to come with me and plan us a route. So off we went and to amazement I have ran 5.11k in just over 42 minutes. I know it's a little slow but I did enjoy it. My husband was fab at keeping me going when my head was saying stop. I'm gonna start week 9 on Monday and complete the last time runs so I get my well deserved badge. And then at the weekend do the 5k again. Still can't believe I ran that far πŸ‘ πŸ˜†

  • Well done you! Laura will slap your wrists next week though - 42 minutes of running instead of 28, oof!

  • Well done Niknok. Hope you are well and truly over the little wobbles you have been experiencing lately.

  • Well done! Sounds like you should graduate already tbh, but good to work your way through each part of the programme for a sense of completeness I suppose

  • Thank you. I did feel a bit naughty not having Laura in my ear. But I just felt that I needed to have a change after my last 2 runs. Back to Laura on Monday to start week 9. Might try the app this time so I can have my music on but Laura talk to me. Hopefully this week she won't tell me how long I've ran for as much ☺

  • Well done - sounds like a fab run! Week 9 should be a doddle!

  • Well done Niknok, that's quite an achievement, hope hubby is proud of you!
