Yay, Completed week four and gained a jogging buddy. Also been looking at Park runs locally. I didn't even know they existed. Quite excited about attending and have registered already. Not sure whether to wait till I've graduated or just go and see what it is all about.

Well done!

Can't comment about park runs as I have never done one but they are very popular whether you have graduated or not. I'm sure there will be plenty who can advise you on that one :)

If you want to see what it's all about why not volunteer for a week or two ? You'll get to know a few faces before you start and know the routine.

Go for it with parkrun, I love it. The people are all very supportive and my home parkrun have a cuppa and cake and a chat afterwards!

Definitely go for it! You will likely find others doing their program runs - or if not, you will certainly find some c25k graduates! If you introduce yourself, you will soon find someone to talk with - and maybe run with. My son and his girlfriend did their first with me last week ( they were completing week 4) and now this week, having gone back up north, they did their second and have found the atmosphere so welcoming they are planning to keep going - despite having to get up early and catch the train to get to the park to run. Try it - what have you got to lose!

I really like the sound of parkrun. I'm going to have to go next week.

Not what you're looking for?
