Gave up running a couple of years ago due to painful hips and knees but just done the first day of the first week quite comfortably. Having my gait analysed next week so hopefully I'll get kitted out with suitable footwear. I'm sure my previous discomfort was due to a change of running shoes. Time will tell.

Welcome to C25K, it's an excellent program. Just listen to Laura (the lovely lady on the mp3/podcasts) and do exactly as she tells you, and all will be well
Happy running
