Not really a failure

Well some of you may remember that I debated whether to re-do wk 7 but after having a heavy cold and blocked painful sinuses I didn't do a run at all. Well during Easter I was out in southern Ireland and decided to do wk8 run 1. It was a hilly route and very warm in the sunshine. I am afraid I had do stop running (but lept on brisk walking) for a breather for about no more than a minute as I just found it difficult to breathe due to being still a bit stuffed up. I was quite disappointed but I know now coming back to my usual route I WILL be able to do this. So although I didn't quite complete I am not classing it as a failure. Bring on Thursday night.

Failure would have been to not run at all. Its a challenge in itself to just do a different route. Sounds like you did excellently, but perhaps need to take it easy still while this cold runs its course? But good luck for tomorrow if you judge yourself fit enough to go for it on more familiar ground 😊
