First run I've not finished. Got to ten minutes and had absolutely nothing left in me. I always run early morning bit yesterday ran early evening as had a busy day so think that didn't help. It was still hot and thought I'd change my route which meant running on softer ground part way which was also bit tougher but at 52 and menopausal I am also in the midst of a very 'heavy week' which usually knocks me out anyways so feeling frustrated. Was going to try again this morning but glad I didn't as things even worse today and I'm struggling to get out of bed. Anyone else dealing with this? Am guessing best to listen to my body and take a few days rest until I feel I have some energy again though will try tomorrow if I do feel better...Sooo frustrating!

Did you have enough fuel on board to sustain your run. Your legs will give up completely if they run out of gas, and you will feel awful.

Oh no! That's a bummer :-D Sounds like a tough week plus a tough day got you. The menopause can make you feel more tired, are you taking any supplements? I found Menopace made quite a difference to me. Good luck for next time :-)

Oh I sympathise. Just rest up and give your body a chance to settle down. The running will be waiting for you

I'm just coming through the other side, won't tell you how long it's been going on! Plenty of water and healthy eating, I always found if I could manage some exercise I felt better. Not sure I could always have completed a run but even a brisk walk perked me up a bit even if I didn't want to move. I guess having dogs helped - they were most unsympathetic and expected to go out as normal 🙄

Exercise definitely helped me ease the issue, but it was a slog getting there and I still have days that just wipe me out. Don't beat yourself up if you feel that rubbish, just do what you can when you can. Everything can wait, it isn't a sprint to the finish but a marathon run!
