It was nice to say thank you Dr...

Went out for a little 5k plod this afternoon.... normally I don't see anyone and I'm all on my own with the local wildlife. Today it was great to pass my now retired Doctor who complimented me on my running. It was really good to be able to thank him that I'm out there as he diagnosed a heart condition that I had about 10 years ago... triple bypass later... and all fixed :-)

Just wish I knew then what running, a good lifestyle and diet can do for you.

Happy Sunday running everyone :-)

Lovely post :) and must be rewarding for your Dr to see you running after going through a byepass. Brilliant, keep smiling :)

Well said! I'm so pleased that you've turned things round for yourself. Proof positive that it can be done.

I was running with the local wildlife this morning. Saw a beautiful swan today but no sign of my friendly ducky duo. I look out for them always. They make me laugh as they peck at my trainers!

I have that running jacket! 'Cept mine's pink. It wasn't very good at keeping the rain out today though. I got ruddy drenched. LOL

Good to be out though. No complaints

Happy running to you too Andy. Enjoy the rest of your day

Well done Andy im impressed. I was ill with a lung disease which near finished me but was caught by a very good doctor. So I know the feeling you have. Keep it up but just remember to listen to your body like I do. I'm not fast but I love the running loads :) J

Glad to hear that your ok Jase...got to thank our Dr's for that. Like you, I'm pretty slow, although I don't know whether this is linked to my earlier health problems.....but also love running and how good it makes you feel. Take care. :-)
