This is a picture of where I run last night. (the picture was taken previously) I changed my route for my post graduation run. I was too scared to change it before graduating in case I could only run on the same route :) . I live by the Coastal path so I walked to the other side of the railway and started running. I hadn't had any breakfast and only a small lunch and had driven to Rotherham and back (about 2.5 hours each way). I planned on doing just my 30 minutes and not pushing myself too much. I planned about 4k I thought. Apart from a couple of gates and it being more hilly than I thought even though I have walked it hundreds of times it was great. I pushed on and when I got in I realised I had run for 4.78k in 31 minutes !. Not bad in the end :)

Yes. It feels a little strange and I did take Laura with me and I did the Week 9 runs but I didn't feel any pressure to finish :)

What a lovely place to run! That was fast by the way - well done!

Thanks. You sometimes forget how nice your local area is. We use the Coastal path to walk the dog in the summer and are always amazed by the beauty the first walk of the year. We have watch the coastal path go from a muddy path that only dog walkers use to a full coastal path that goes all the way around Wales and everyone uses it. :) As for the time it wasn't intentional - just a happy accident :)

Yes. I am really looking forward to spending more time on it and getting further. We do use it for walking the dog in the summer but I can't wait to get out there more. :)

I'm stuck in the midlands and one of my key drivers in doing C25K in the first place was to be able to run along the coast paths when I go to Cornwall in the summer :-)

I will be great. It felt so peaceful and alone (in a good way) even though there were dog walkers. Good luck :)
