I may not be back to the program yet, I think I've got another couple of weeks before I rejoin it, probably on week 6. But this is proof that it gave me the kick-start I needed!
Before Christmas, I was 12 stone and a misery guts to boot.
This morning I was just under 11 stone for the first time in about 2 years. The whole shin thing has taught me that my calves and shins are my weak spot, and I am armed with the information to keep them strong. I have some weights and a resistance band so I can work out without the pool and my BMI is in the green. And today I will try another gentle 1 mile trot to see how things are.
Thank goodness, I think I'm getting my mojo back a bit!

I would love to ditch another half stone or so, mainly because it's easier to run when lighter on the feet! Hopefully it'll take the strain off my middle-aged legs...
That is fab many congratulations and glad you got your mojo back it very hard to when it hides under the sofa. You kept plugging away and that is the main thing, you will be back in action and you sound like your doing the right thing by not rushing things
