On no. Sorry to hear that not so slow Rob. Bit of rest for a few days hopefully you will be ok. Just be careful. Don't risk it if still in pain. :(

in reply toToonlou24

Thanks Toon as tempting as going running is not doing it until doc and or physio say so

Oh no Rob ! What a blow for you xxx

Oh , I hope you get a running friendly doctor. If not, you could always go see a physio.

Being injured is the flippin' pits BUT just remember you will overcome it . You can be fixed . Its just a question of rest, time and patience.

Best wishes Rob , I am really gutted for you, hope you feel better soon xxx

Noooooooo..... Rob, what have you been up to?? Soooo sorry to hear that you are on the IC. Get all the help and advice you can and get back out there as soon as you can. :-)

in reply toAndyD

Thanks Andy. no idea what or when it happened , it started to play up a week ago last Friday, It didn't stop me running at parkrun last sat, which in hindsight maybe shouldn't have. Decided not to run and rest it etc this week and make doc apmt , will see how it feels on Monday , although no real improvement so far .

Hope your running is going well Andy :D

This is probably the first time that you have been on the IC since you started... so must be a bit of a shocker to your new lifestyle... think I would get a bit stressed about it!! My running is fine... taking my new shoes out for another spin later on a long-ish run.

Take care :-)

in reply toAndyD

so far it isnt to bad, if it goes on longer it will be !

enjoy your run Andy :D

I'm still on ic as well. Right knee improving steadily but now my left outer thigh muscle is screaming where it's been compensating for the initial injury. So I think I will be here for a while. Everything throbbing at the mo so it's painkillers and patience, I therefore empathise and sympathise with you. So which of us is bringing the popcorn it could be a while.

Didn't know you were on the IC - what a blow - glad you're making progress now and feel a bit more optimistic. I haven't run for 2 weeks (sloth) and then went out this week and got a PB, so there's hope for you yet - I'm sure that couch won't win you back.

in reply toBuffy007

Thanks Buffy :) it is has been really frustrating but yup now hopefully we know what the problem is , Houston we can fix it :D we are slowly on the way back ..

Well done on that PB :D
