Have just completed my final run of week 8. All good comfortable runs this week. Finally got everything together and using run keeper (and remembering the belt thing so I could carry my phone with me) thought it would be interesting to see how far off the 5km mark I was...
Am in shock, in the 28 mins I ran 5.81km!!! Am chuffed to bits, didn't think I was pushing myself particularly and thought I'd build up to 5km post graduation - looks like I may have to set a new goal.
Just have to beware now over confidence on my next run, else it could go horribly wrong! Happy weekend everyone

WOW, that's not running, that's... rocketing! You are amazing!
Ha! I decided to check my progress too, for my week 6 run 3. The whole session including the 5 min walks either end was 4.2km, so I estimate the actual running part was about 3.5km (25min). I'm nowhere near 5k! (yet)
Not sure, am going to keep checking as I am doubtful this is correct, will let you know on Monday if the software lied to me! I certainly don't feel fast!
In the past I have posted on here about the duplicitous nature of Annabel Runkeeper Smythe and also her American cousin, Gwendolen P. Runkeeper, who have misled me seriously over pace, but rarely on distance, in any significant way. It is probably a ploy to make friends with you. Keep your distance, they are dangerous.
