Strava and mapmyrun are both good apps - having said that, you really do not need to worry about how fast/slow you are running just at present. That is for post graduation. For now your only concern should be to complete each run.

At w3 it may be best to focus on completing the running periods right now, if you worry about distance you might go off too fast.

I started using runkeeper in week 5 alongside the c25k app but they both tried to talk to me at the same time causing both apps to crash during the important run 3. After that I used runkeeper on its own as I could set my plan, get split distance, pace etc every 0.5k, and see progress run by run, and unlike most people didn't feel Laura was particularly helping me.

What they said about apps. ^^^ (Not that I know anything about apps in general!!)

You really don't need water until you're up to 10k plus. Of course, if/when the weather gets warmer, you might find just a sip now and then will help but as long as you drink enough during a normal day or unless you have a medical condition that means you need extra hydration, you will fine.

Ok great, don't think I'll ever get to 10k lol and there aren't any toilets around so don't want any accidents either lol :-)
