Local runners?

The website has changed a little since I last did the C25K, but used to have a little map of very rough location of where runners lived. Does that still exist-or has it been removed for safety reasons? I will be joining a local running club once im back to 20mins jogging and park run after that-but maybe nice to meet up with other local women.

Yeah, the site changed and got rid of that little gem. I used to like that feature too.

Maybe you could post on here saying where you are and asking if there are any local - to - you runners?

I think I will try the local sweatshop group first and see if I can cope with running with other folks paces first....

I noticed in an earlier post you said you lived in a flat area - East Anglia?

Hi Buffy-not quite... York. Its generally flat which makes any minor slopes seem hard work! Good luck with the parkrun, I managed a couple over the years and did enjoy them when I did go.
