Done! The first 10 mins of running seem to be the worst, unless that's just my circuit. Perhaps I'll try a different way around - but I like the thought now of seeing if I can reach a further landmark each day of wk 7. This can't be me running for 25 mins! Loving it. Loving this community too. One of my songs today on my list was 'Knockin on Heaven's Door'. The words are 'take this badge off me' - I was thinking, No! , I haven't even got it yet. And 'knockin on heaven's door' - that's how I feel at the moment! Perhaps need to change my playlist.

Well done Buffy. Sometimes it takes a while to hit your stride but you've got this. Not long now until you get your badge

Hahaha, yes, the music sometimes feel like there's a hidden message in there. I particularly like it when Bruce Springsteen tells me Baby We Were Born To Run. I don't even mind him calling me baby lol

That's so funny! I think my husband thinks I'm either loopey or having an affair - I go around the house smiling my head off after reading this forum sometimes!

You might need a longer warm up. I warm up in the house, make sure i am well hot before turning out for my five minute warm up walk. I'm slow to,get going but i found this helps

That's interesting - yes, I might do that - was hanging around this morning waiting for my son so could have warmed up instead . Certainly whilst its still so cold as well. Thanks

I always find the first 10 minutes or so the worst...maybe because by that time I am knackered and know I can't get any tireder so it can't get worse!

Ha ha! I think for me, it could be a warm up thing, or that I've just done a slight incline and by 10 mins I'm back on the flat. Need to change my direction - but then I'll be running into the wind. Oh decisions, decisions .......!

Well done.

I bought some running music CDs but have no idea how to get the music onto my phone.

The running is hard enough but the technology bit is harder still ;0)

Totally amazing yes - I still maintain that first 1 minute was the worst! Look out the Brasso!

Fantastic, Buffy, really well done! Week 7 already, hasn't it flown? As Laura says,"You're a runner now!"

Thanks Parky-Park. It has flown (scary) We're runners - weeeeeh! We can do it now can't we!

Yes I feel like I have someone else's legs on and they are tied in a knot too for the first few minutes! Changing your route can't hurt, you can always see if you went further in a weeks time for instance.
