Just finished week six. Twenty-five minutes of running. When you start the run, it seems like it will take forever to hit minute 25, but as with the previous weeks, it's really not bad. I'm progressing well and can't believe I'm running for 25 minutes straight. Only little problem I have is my legs below my knees kinda ache (not complaining). Breathing wise I have no problem I don't really feel winded but my legs irritate me a bit. Thankfully I have no other aches or pains. On to week 7! Good luck everyone as you continue this journey.

Oh brilliant - well done. Really interesting to hear..... and the fact that its do-able. I suppose now that you've done one 25 minute, then wk 7 should be achievable. I was really disappointed this morning when I went out as the roads were like glass - so absolutely a no no for running. In the end decided to go at lunchtime and things had melted a bit. Glad I went as Tuesday is my routine - but interesting to go at another time of day - kind of puts one out of one's comfort zone to go out of routine - I know its silly but any little thing could knock me off balance, but it didn't (I know I'm rambling, but I know what I mean). Anyway, not long to go now. Very well done again.
Yeah, I can't wait until the Spring weather gets here. I prefer to run outside, but it's cold here too. Won't be long. Did you run today? How was it?
I'm doing r2 tomorrow (weather permitting - its minus 3 at the moment and our roads here are a sea of mud and wet so freeze overnight to a horror of ice or goo where it doesn't freeze). My knees are a bit swollen and I don't feel quite as good as last week but we'll see. Everyone else seems to be managing OK. Sure you'll enjoy wk 7 now you've done your 25 minute-er. Not long to go!!!
well done , you are doing really well you will do week 7 no problem
Congratulations! I did the same run as you yesterday and feel the same way - how has this happened?! I actually enjoyed not having to slow down and walk between jogs and can't wait to do it all again in week 7. I don't think I'm going to break any speed records but I'm just so delighted to be running for as long as I am! Well done and keep posting. I find it really motivating to hear how others are getting on. Happy running!
Well done Parky Park too. I'm like you 'how has this happened?'! Great motivation for everyone.
Oh well done. What a joy it is to be called a runner by our lovely Laura Enjoy week 7. Not long to graduation now....
