Buffy007, Beginning2run, Fitfor60, Slow_Rob, IannodaTruffe, flossiflyblow, Irishprincess, Ullyrunner, juicyju, Cheshiregal, poppypug, caj62 and frannyfran for all your words of encouragement, humour, support (and the occasional threat). I did it!! I ran for 20 minutes and didn't have a heart attack, didn't cry uncontrollably, didn't even get stitch!

It just shows that the programme must be well designed to get a couch potato like me to run for 20 minutes :-)

Many thanks again for all the support. I wonder how much harder it would have been if I hadn't joined this forum?

Aw John thanks for those kind words, but you are the one who is doing it! Well done. That's the first of the big runs under your belt. Good luck with week 6 - some people find it tricky - nice and steady now.
