Week 5 Day 3 by chance

Woop woop! So off I went this morning to do my W5D2 again in prep for another go at Day 3, well I got to the 8 minutes and felt good so thought, OK let's do 2 lots of 10 minutes, got to 10 and thought you know what I can do this so I just ran 20 minutes solid, I'm soooooo chuffed.

What did I do differently today? Well I had a protein milkshake with almond milk 20 minutes before I went, I lay on my back with legs raised to ease my back for 10 minutes, and I wore my old elastic back support. I'm sure it's all in my head but at least my back didn't hurt.

Well done Paul, good preparation and it sounds like you won the mental battle too. I think a lot of us had to fight the gremlins at this stage of the programme! Keep it up!😀

Thanks Sandra, I'm on a mission to graduate before my birthday in March, I hope to get there well before then. I'm also going to look into the park runs.

Tee hee can't stop grinning

Well done Paul - watch out for week six now, it's a sneaky one! Just keep things nice and slow and steady.

Excellent! Well done Paul. I'm a big believer in those spontaneous runs that you do before you realise what you've done! :)

Well done! That's brilliant. And do look into park run, re your comment below. I've only been twice, back in November, but I'm hoping to go again on Sat. It was really friendly and I loved it.

That's the way a-ha a-ha I like it a-ha a-ha! That's the hurdle passed, now you can run a 20 min block, you know you can run.
