Anyone other LUPUS bods out there?

Just completed R1 of Wk2, going better than I hoped overall, but suspect my 'running' style is pretty poor(more of a V.slow jog). Partly down to weakness in joints, any advice gratefully accepted. :)

Sorry I can't give you advice on the LUPUS and hopefully someone here can, but I can tell you that slow, really slow is the way for all of us to go. It's the only way to get through the programme safely and with minimum injury. Slow is good.

Well done on getting week 1 done!

Yes I agree slow is the way to go, I think the program is designed for endurance and not speed. Just listen to your body and don't try and over stretch yourself, I believe running style and speed will come with time, enjoy your running.

As IP and NtJ has said, slow is good, particularly at this stage of the game. And can I just add that I think it's impressive that you have the dedication to start your running programme in cold and wet January. Well done!

well done :D it takes some great attitude to start and get there in the winter :D keep at it

Firstly, congrats on getting out there and running ~ that is the biggest and hardest step to take. By having done that you are, in my book, a runner!

Best advice...take it slow. There are NO PRIZES for speed or distance; what is most important is the time, if you are OK with running for the prescribed time, then do it. If your body is grumbling, then slow down, walk or stop.

Take care, and please, please, please keep us posted GOOD LUCK, my fellow runner.
