Just woken. Riddled with guilt. Haven’t run for 2 weeks. Finished on W6R3. Nice morning out there. Got brand new running shoes. Already talking myself into it by writing this post...amazingly enough. But what run should I try? Feel unhealthy and heavy. I’ve given out advice to others- why can’t I use it to motivate myself?

Go! Redo W6R3 again. If you *have* to cut it a tad short then do but you'll be better than you think.
It's your internal gremlins trying to stop you changing. They like you listening to excuses and reasons not to do things.
Get out there. Do it for the little girl in you who used to believe you could do anything in life if you just tried! 👍💪😉

You just need to throw your running kit on and leave the house. When I run in week I have to come in put my stuff on and get out without even sitting down
I have sat down a couple of times and still been sat in my running clothes on comfy spot on the sofa 2 hours later and then the pj's go on.
You shouldn't lose fitness in 2 weeks so should be able to start week 7, if that's too daunting do week 6 again.
Just get out there, go nice and slow, enjoy stomping on those gremlins 👺😈, let us know how you got on 🤩

I RAN!!! Thank you for all your supportive replies. I feel great!!! Dripping with rain but feeling on top of the world. I opted in the end to repeat W6R1 again. When I turned on the app I saw my last run was 14 May so I thought I’d better skip back a bit. I was surprised at my fitness levels despite the break. Go C25k!!! And go all you lovely people who took time to care!!! ❤️🏃♀️

Do it slowly if you have to but I think it will spur you on.
You might need to go slowly with new shoes anyway. Mine made my calves ache for the first three runs but they are like old friends now.
It’s just half an hour.
