I am mad not insane!!

Just got home so should be out doing week 7 run1.....noooooooowaaaaaayyyyy!! Could hardly drive the car never mind run in this weather.What a wind!!!!#As you know I like similies but cannot think of a suitable one(welcome any suggestions...polite ones obviously lol) that would suit!! So will have to do runs on both Sat &Sun...if it is still as bad I might try tying a kite to me:0)

  • I'm so glad I got to go out before lunchtime as it has been truly hideous weather here since then. I don't blame you for giving it a miss!

  • Hi, don't give it a miss. Think of it this way, the harder it is the more stamina you develop.Even if you don't complete the session, you will feel better for it. As long as you've given it your best shot. I Finished my second 5K tonight in 37 mins and I'm 64 next month. So come on, get out there. Good luck. Mel

  • Believe me I have done..where I live has been nothing but rain wind and cold for weeks and even my husband (a runner himself) has questioned my sanity in going out, but tonight was the last straw.So tomorrow it is...but thanks for the encouragement...it is appreciated x

  • I don't blame you either! It's just no fun at all running in wind like this - it's got to be a biiiiiit fun I reckon :)

  • just finished a 5k run 38 mins....the wind was in front of me!!!! wow feel better for doing it in such weather....nice & warm inside.....I must be mad & crazy!!! :-) :-D
