This time last year I had trouble running a bath! Having read others experiences on here I know I am not alone on my journey I started C25K in April and in October my better half and I completed a local 10k and loved it!
So while work and Christmas preparations have gone in the way as of late, I need something to kick start me back out there.
I am trying to be realistic and setting myself an achievable target. So in 2015 I am hoping to complete 594km! There it is! I've posted on FB and now on here so have to do it now!
Happy running

I would enter a race or running event that you have to commit to. That will focus your attention and give you a goal and a reason to turn out every other day.
I have calculated it lol and then 10% for good measure! If I do the newly started local Parkrun and one 7km each week, with swimming and cycling I should be able to complete my target. Not including any distance I walk, swim or cycle. Also giving life change to get in my way!
Although the scary thing is, it is equal to 14 marathon!
Just checked my Nike page and I did 598.2km in 2014. Perhaps I should go out again after work this evening and do another 1.8 km to round it off to 600.
Interestingly June and July I ran the furthest, and ran the shortest distance in August.
I love your very very precise target, and it does make sense, seeing your explanation, but even without the explanation it's cool. Very, very good luck with it! You could call it 'Project 594' or something similar. I agree with MissW; enter a race or three; they're fantastic motivation. Good luck; you can do it!
I believe that you will be able to easily achieve your goal Last year ( 2014 ) , I covered 800 klm - and that was only running 3 days per week and I am not fast at all. For a period of a couple of months , my long runs got out to 15 klm once per week.
