Tacking time and distance?

Hello!

I’m new here, I’m on week 7, thought I’d try this community to help push me further, I haven’t been tracking my time or distance and a friend suggested using strava so am going to try it running at same time as couch to 5k., now that I’m running for 25 mins.

Welcome to the forum. This is a great community to find support, inspiration and motivation. I am really new to running and really look forward to logging my thoughts and feelings on here and hearing how others have felt the same. You’re doing great to be on week 7 so keep it going, you’re so close now

Hi! Yes I thought it would be good to find support, I do find it hard to motivate myself sometimes! We can do this!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

I’m new here too, today! I’ve just finished week 4 this morning - massive calf burn, it was a struggle! Bought new running shoes yesterday.

Yep, I track my runs with Strava App so my boys can see I’m getting on with it, plus good to see a record of distance etc....

Hi!!! Well I’m in my running gear but have spent far too long trying to figure out strava and signing up here, that I haven’t gone out yet!!! So I’ll be leaving as soon as I’ve finished this message ! I couldn’t figure out how to get the free version but done it now. I’ll show my boys this too, I love showing off my progress but they don’t seem that bothered! It’s a big deal to me though! Right I’m off 🏃🏻‍♀️
