You have to register before you can change it, then go to the gear on the top right for settings then go to account. It's just over 1/4 way down that page. Hope that helps.

Got it! Thanks RFC, that was well hidden!

Account Settings is where you need to go hit the symbol next to your name at the top right hand side then go to account settings go down till you see miles kms and then change to what you need you can get the app on your phone as well have fun

Have you sorted it Curly?

I got bad news from myasics last night. After feeding in the results of last night's run they have suggested I change the projected finish time for my 10 k on Sunday in view of the fact that I've run the last three runs slower than expected. I put it down to gale force winds so am sticking to the projected time and will do my damndest (is that a word!) to finish in the time I've been working towards. Apparently it won't be quite as windy on Sunday (fingers crossed)

So, if you input all your run data, myasics will tweak as they thing necessary. You have the final say though on whether to accept their advice. On this occasion I'm not going to. Oooer

I never thought about the fact it would change the predicted plan depending on how you are doing. That should keep me on plan.

Just started using it, so not much help. It does look very grown-up. Did my first run with it yesterday and it sends reminders about what I should be doing next, for how long and at what speed. Very personal assistant :)

I think it may have been trying to tell me how slow/fast(ha) I was going yesterday but noticed after the run I had phone set to silent - duh!

Hi Slookie & everyone

I am trying to use the my asics training programme, but I havn't had any sound come on my phone when using the asics RUN programme.

The thing I find hard is when it tells you to run say 7.2 K fast and then 6:43 - 7:16 min km. I dont know how fast I am going until I have actually done the run and look back at how fast I was going?

May be me who is a bit thick Ha Ha.

Thanks John (Drakeybar)

If you have something like Runkeeper, you can set it for a certain pace and it will tell you if you running too fast or slow..I accidentally set it for 3 seconds per KM, it drove me crackers with " you are behind your target time" in a very snooty voice until I could reset it!

I haven't started it yet, but it looks like the sort of thing I'll like..

I know what you mean John, my first run is supposed to be 12 mins per KM or something... I'd have to hop backwards to go that slowly - yes even me lol xx

I did my first run earlier this week, I just could not run that slow, it was slower than my walking pace, so I just went as slow as I possibly could, it's the best I could do. I was still 1.30min faster than what they wanted.

in reply toRealfoodieclub

OOh! That probably means they'll up the pace for the others..

Just looked at my first run for tomorrow - 3.2K at 9 mins 24.. that's slow..

I didn't go as slowly as the recommended either. I got my splits with minus signs before them which was never a good sign in a test!

Who would have thought I could go too fast :D

Hi Curlygurly

I'll give run keeper a go.

See if it helps.

Thanks

I expect most if not all of them will have the same function, Garin MMR Endomondo etc. I like RK, it's never let me down... so far..

RFC, Slookie, Drakey - are you all doing the 10K plan? (Not MW & Moger, I know they can do a little bit further than that already ha ha)

I'm starting today, might be fun to stay in touch and keep each other motivated.

Not what you're looking for?
