After my PB yesterday I thought I would treat myself to some new shoes. My current Nike structure 15 trainers the tread is worn level where my forefoot strikes the road so went to local Reading branch of Sweatshop who did my original gait analysis and I wanted a change from Nike so these lovely Asics GT 1000 should provide the same level of support my feet and legs need to prevent any re-occurrence of the knee problem I had before the Nike's. Original price £95, sale price on box £74.99 yesterdays price in the store £50 so I think I bagged a bargain. I don't need today's latest model I am happy to run in older models and save the cash.
Only problem is they are to be a birthday present from my wife and my birthdays not until the 27th Dec so apart from a trial run in the shop and a quick run up and down the hall at home they now have to stay wrapped up for a couple of weeks more.
My initial try to post did not do anything when I hit submit. Then I realised the picture cannot be any bigger than 2.48K I think it tells you the size where you enter the pic. My original was over 4K. So I reduced the pic size by putting it in an email which automatically reduced the size I then saved the copy in the email to my desktop and then used this smaller version I my healthunlocked posting.
