Week 1 - 3rd run completed!

Felt a wee bit better - can actually breathe now by the time the next jog starts! I know I wont manage 90 secs of jogging yet so going to repeat Week 1 - have been doing a brisk mile walk every lunchtime at work which seems to be helping too - and I lost 3 1/2 lbs this week! I am going to do the next one on Weds evening after work - normally do it round the fields on an access road (mainly cos there isnt anyone else about!!!) so am intending to do it on a Sat, Weds and the following Sat with the mile walk everyday inbetween. Have ordered a sports bra, hi vis vest and some natty gloves so waiting for them to arrive but in the meanwhile its 2 bras and a tight vest top!!!

Well done on your start so far. The walking I find is a big help as it keeps the legs moving. There is now time limit and there is nothing wrong with repeating a week if you feel happy with that.

But well done on week one. You have taken a very large step forward and now your journey has begun.

Hi and nice to hear you've done your first week. Just remember you can jog as slow as you like. Don't try to go too fast because that is when you end up really out of breath.

yeah well done :D and losing weight too :D good for you

Well done! Making a start is the hardest bit and the best present you'll ever have given yourself. Keep posting here too. It's the combination of the support here and Laura that's getting me through.

Well done :-) good idea about the walking, stretch those leg muscles nicely. Keep posting, would love to hear how you're getting on xxx
