You certainly will :-). I just completed week 7 yesterday and run 3 wasn't great for me either, was struggling from about half way through and was willing it to be over, but think there is just some days like that. We will both be starting week 8 next week :-)

I use Smartrun on my mobile, but to be honest its very hit and miss and sometimes throws up some strange results! I have asked Santa for a Garmin, so hopefully he has been listening :-) I am starting week 8 on Monday too, let us know how you get on.

And complete it you will, we will be waiting for your report of a successful run. Don't let one run put you off.

put it behind you and do it again. We all have cr*p runs and can't expect to have great runs all the time. Did you stretch your calves afterwards?

Good luck for next time. You'll do it ok.

Make sure you have a proper warm up. I get achey calves but found it went if I warmed up properly. I warm up at home before going out for the brisk five minute walk, and while I walk I do arm circles and such. You need to be really quite hot before you start running

Yeah I agree, with everyone, you can't quit a run unless you're injured. The deal is that you started so you'll finish. You can do it!!!!

I always get aches but I find if I work through it in fine! I was looking for an excuse and I found it today so gave up but I'm so stubborn I could allow myself lol. Xx

I always find the first five or ten mins the worst. Once they are over then I know I will be fine.
