Well. I finally wore them.
They have been sitting patiently in the drawer for quite some time and today they made their long awaited debut.
I doubt I will wear them again.....

Why whats up with em. Most folks wear em. Runners that is
My hubby has some cycling pants. He looks like Max Wall but he loves them. He doesn't half get some strange looks though. I suppose you'll have to get used to the strange looks if you go through the winter in shorts.
i love wearing mine now they are better than i thought
I wore my 'longs' for the first time today - rather liked them xx
I find them so comfortable to run in compared with anything loose and flappy. I am a little self-conscious about looking too ...er prominent (or if it's really cold, not prominent enough). At this time of year it's usually dark when I go out, so the only people likely to see me are the lesbian couple in the apartment downstairs who most likely don't care too much either way (or perhaps laugh about it when I'm out of earshot). I see loads of men running in tights at this time of year, so it seems to be the done thing, at least around here.
I got my first pair 2 weeks ago for a 5k when I knew it was going to be bitter cold. As you can see by my profile pic, I'm no "skinny Minnie". Not only did they keep me warm but the compression kept my legs from getting tired. I went out and bought a few more pairs, including some reflective pink for running in the dark.
