Seems I can now join the hallowed halls. After all my planning I chickened out and did it on the treadmill. I wondered what everyone would think when I got to the end and shouted YIPPEE, but a friend came over to talk to me while I was doing my cooldown walk and I forgot to shout. So YIPPEE! YIPPEE! YIPPEE!

Thanks it feels fantastic to have done it. The DownNotUp was to remind me which way I wanted my weight to go, but I do think I should now try adding in a few hills - well put a slope on the treadmill.
Thanks, I have done about half my runs outside. We have a motorhome so quite a lot was done on dogwalks around campsites. We had a 2 week holiday in the middle so I had two weeks of running along a beach road as the sun came up. That was divine. Then I had one run where I got completely drenched and splashed by lorries and loved it. You are right though, it is time I got outside again.
I think you might just have given me the kick I need to get started again. I've had a few problems and running has taken a back seat. Which means the weight is going on again and I am feeling very sluggish. I think I'll join you on your next 23 runs, if you don't mind.
