Week 4...Nailed it! :)

Yes guys! The advice worked. Today I ran in the afternoon which was different from my morning runs. I remember getting onto that last 5 minutes! Then I took on board danzargo's (a grad here) advice and not only did my speed increased at the end, but i still had a tankful (I stayed with Laura though, to avoid any injuries)

BIG BIG thank you to adidas1961 , Slow_Rob , henpen90 and runswithdogs for the support too! It sounds like a graduated lol, I am only half way but it feels so good to run the whole way.

I will run week 4 two more times, before I try week 5 next week! Love the support here c:

Hooray! Congratulations on getting over that hump. Some runs for whatever reason feel tougher and certainly deserve a pre-graduation celebration. This sounds like yours. Well done on conquering that mental hill. Keep us posted on your progress and happy running.

Well done Pikaree :D so pleased for you :D you are the one doing the hard work :D onwards and upwards always :D it is a great sense of achievement when you have a good run :D remember that on the not so good ones, which of course you wont have :D

Yeah definitely, as soon as i began to trust my body I could sense the achievement. I haven't felt this good in ages! Running is definitely rewarding!

Wahhay! Well done. Cause for a celebration me thinks! I like you have turned to support from the forum for wk4. I used a self reward system for wk 4- which was if I made it I would buy myself some trainers. I haven't thought past that yet - but I intend on using the same thing again when I find myself challenged.

Mental agility is all. Positive mantras. Use everything you can- the advice and support on here is fantastic! Good luck and keep us posted!

Definitely an achievement for me. I havent been able to run this long ever! And if it wasn't for the amount of support here, it would have been so much harder. And yes I have week 4 to tackle 2 more times!

Self reward system is a good idea actually. Since my trainers are nearly worn out, I think that might also be my reward for the end of this week :) Wish you the best for the runs too!

Thank you :)
