Struggled through a self-inflicted (less minor than I first realised!) hangover to reach the graduation finishing line in cloudy north-east London this morning.
Fastest pace I've managed so far at 6.59min/km... didnt quite make the 5k sadly, with a total running distance of 4.7km, have the wine to blame for that I guess.
Haven't really thought about what next yet as didnt dare to believe i'd finish but must look at some options.
To all those starting out keep going! I have joined gyms, gone to Pilates classes, chucked money at home stepping machines etc - but this is the only programme I've ever finished. I really believe everyone can do this.
It has taken me 11 weeks as life got in the way sometimes, but 11 weeks, 29 runs (to be sure!) and over 110km later, I am so proud to have survived and be a C25K grad

That's great, You deserve to feel proud. It's your hard work and will power that has got you to the finish line. Keep running...parkrun next saturday ? That'll get you to the 5k....
Thank you poppypug, you are absolutely right, this programme shows you that anything could be possible! A bit of determination, grit, and unwillingness to fail is what you need!
So happy for you; massive well done!! I can honestly say I have enjoyed running more since Graduating with c25k. It's almost like I am doing it purely for me now, as opposed to trying to prove something.
Aw thank you hopefully I will be exactly the same and this is just the beginning of a new way of living! Hoping to run twice this week and then brave parkrun on sat
Congratulations on your graduation :0) and well done for doing it with a hangover. I had a dreadful one a couple of weekends ago and no way on the planet could I have gone out for a run. Enjoy your running to come.
Thank you! Hope your postgrad running is going well. Hopefully one day soon ill get to a point where I won't drink too much because I want to run the next day! Unfortunately my maturity level isn't quite there yet despite age and experience!
