I'm afraid I don't really understand those cycling numbers, but it sounds great that you've been exercising, are feeling good, and got tired. Those are great steps towards better health
Tomas, Thank you so much for your good thoughts. The numbers are ther because I would reach 5K more easily on the bike. Also, I have converted the kilometers into miles, as I find it easier to deal with the machine I use at the gym! Otherwise it's the same principle, training to go a little bit harder to build endurance, especially for my damaged lungs! Thanks!
Must admit I like 'old money'. I find it easier to think in miles. Sounds like a good pace to me. I enjoy the static bike as you can really measure the progress you make. I am glad you feel able to do this. Look forward to reading your posts.
Thank you all,I went again today, did 2.83 miles which is 4.55km near the 5k, but on the bike!
The levels are the same. What I noticed my HR went up to 115 and went down by the end to 86 ( I checked this with the bike and my oximeter) I thought that was good.
Thanks for your encouragment. (Ilike the old mile because the bike has funny conversion, will convert the distance and not the speed! machines, you know!) Cheers, Mic
