Isn't it great when all the aches and pains get better, and you get running again (albeit a lot slower, not going through shin splints again for anyone!!). Rest, Ice and stretching exercises do work wonders.

Funny you should say that about compression socks. They seem to be quite popular, but I don't know anyone who has used them before. Reviews of the item you suggested look good though.
