W6 in the bag!

Finished W6 tonight and even surprised myself when Laura suggested upping the speed for the last minute and I went for it. I still can't believe that I actually ran for 25 minutes and I'm just 5 minutes away from graduation time, and Laura confirmed that I can now class myself as a runner! :)

Hello, I've been running every week since May. I've been building up my stamina and using Runkeeper. I'm starting week 5 next week and the thought of running non stop for 25 mins seems so daunting! I can run for 10mins just about but crave the walk/slow pace to get my breath back but I will persevere knowing that you have managed the elusive 25minuter! I'm so impressed and hopefully I can say the same as you soon and congratulate myself on my first 25min run! Keep up the good work

And that comment from Laura just makes you feel so good, keep going and good luck with the next few runs.

I actually find it ... um ... not easier exactly, but easier on the brain gremlins to do the continuous runs. No negative feelings about the next run during the walkie bits! You'll be fine. You're well prepared :)

I remember thinking never mind speeding up to end on a high, completing the run was a high enough!

But you've got to love it when Laura says that.. yes, you ARE a runner. Keep up the good work

:-) xx
