Welcome back.

This 'new' C25K site is even better, more encouraging and friendlier than ever before.

Well done! I need to do the same, couldn't run for about 8 weeks after hurting my knee then it turned too cold out to motivate me (Aussie winter). When it warms up a bit I will get back out with a vengeance

Welcome back and well done for getting going again. It sounds like you enjoyed that first run back! Are you going to do the whole programme again or an abridged version?

I also had about 3 months off earlier this year after having been running regularly for 9 months. I started back at week 1 run 1 but then went straight on to week 2 run 1 , then week 3 run 1 , then week 4 run 1 then did all of week 5 and 6 then went back up to 30 minutes. It took just over 3 weeks and I felt fine through out.

Just sharing this in case it helps you when you are deciding what to do next - on saying that I am sure you will have a feel for what's right for you. Happy running :)

Thank you for the encouragement. Yes we (my buddy and I) managed Week 1 so well we thought we'd go straight to week 2 but I remember week 3 being very hard so may need to do that one more than once ... But will take each week at a time.

Go you! I graduated last July but somehow it's all gone to pot since the new year. I've tried jumping back in to the middle of the programme, but I'm going to follow your example, maybe with lizziebeth57's suggestion too.

I started again with Week 1 Run 1 yesterday too! I finished the program on the treadmill in the spring and then went to transition outside but it was so much harder running outside that I got discouraged and gave up for a bit. I'm back now, ready to complete it outdoors. Good luck to you and know that there is another breathless, hot, sweaty and smiling runner wanna-be right there with you!

I've also just started again and jumped from wk 1 run 1 to Wk2 run1 and this eve completed run 2 . I'm going to carry on in order now . Got to wk 7 (in April)and then my hip started playing up . Do hope it doesn't happen again . My stamina was so good and I felt so strong , Good luck to you I know how hard it is to start over but it's so worth it

Done it myself, just finishing week 8. This will be my third go at C25K this time hopefully I will keep running for good. Might even join local running club to help get me motivated through the winter months.
