Greetings from Gran Canaria

Great scenery running along hilly coastal path. Lots of other runners out as well. Very hot but I've run 5k twice sofar in 35 and 40 mins. Not great times but good enough for holidays. Powered by cerveza

What a lovely place to run! Hats off for "running on holidays"... you can say you've rightly earned the cerveza! You're on holidays - times don't count...

No problem.I walk down to the beach as my warm up. Run along the road that has shops near the harbour, then it's up the ramp to the coastal path to Amadores beach. Run along amodores beach watching out for any slippy tiles if they've been washed. Out to the restaurant at the furthest spit ofland then turn back and head back the way you came. It reallyis beautiful hope you enjoy it

Looks great, don't worry about time enjoy the beer. Hill training too in the heat and on holiday well that is impressive.

Oh that is my most favourite view. I have run there for the last two years holidays. We stayed at Marina Suites by the harbour and run from there to Amadores, along the beach and back. I love running along the road past Gloria Palace with that view of the ocean. I had to go out at 7am otherwise it'd too hot. Am very jealous!!

We're in Maracaibo apart hotel which is great but you've pretty much gotthe sameroute as me. Next week we head upthe hill to Calle Valencia apartments which might be a bigger running challenge
