OMG! I did it!! Am so chuffed! I'm beaming! I found this site last week and have quietly been reading your posts and tips as I struggled with week 3 a bit. Huge thank you to you all. I think I was running too fast so slowed my pace today after reading all your lovely comments and wow! I did it! Yipeeeee! I've got the running bug!!!

congratulations! When I'm struggling with a week, or a run, I always try and remember its important to finish it, not to set pbs (they can come later) so will consciously slow down to get me through it. Especially with the heat recently.

Remember that the first time you do anything is a PB... so you've already got a few... and you'll get one next week... and the week after... :)

Ha! We have another convert! Well done... as many smarter people than me have said - the goal is to "finish" each run... it matters not a sausage the distance covered.... just have a look around at the times people post up here with pride over various distances... we post the times as our "personal bests"...

The best bit about every one of those write ups??? The "I can't believe it - I finished it" bit... whether it's W1R1 or a 10K - you finished it! Well done... and you'll finish the rest too now (you're hooked).. Slow and steady now... :)

And so you should be chuffed - well done!

Just remember if you have a not such a good run, that really doesn't matter - we've all had those and still do from time to time, it's part of the journey - and what a great one it is.

You've got plenty of potential chuffed moments to come - enjoy the journey and enjoy them :-) :-) it's a great feeling :-) :-)
