Graduation Celebration

Did my third thirty minute run of the week this morning, second time I've cracked 5K, and a new PB to boot. Who was that decrepit old geezer who wheezed his way through week one? Can't have been me, can it? Will celebrate by going to Greek island for two weeks, and running barefoot on beach...

Thanks. I'll try and post from poolside or tavern, once I've done a run out there.

I'm about to do week 5 run 2 tonight - so i know i'm a few weeks off yet, but i seem to have got the running bug!

Ah, week 5 - the first continuous run coming up. Once you've done that you'll be flying. Week 5 Run 3 was when I knew I could do the whole thing - it was hard, but it was wonderful to know I had moved on from shambling along for a couple of minutes at a time to a real uninterrupted run. Hope it all goes well for you.

Thanks. I must admit to being a tiny bit astonished at how well the whole programme has gone, and how much I have enjoyed it. thought I would have to repeat weeks etc., but no, bang on schedule. the only one who is not pleased is my dog - she prefers a much slower pace!

Thanks Ullyrunner - I'm a bit gobsmacked that I've actually completed the programme, but it's been great (if a bit painful at times!) and I love running now. Beach here I come...

Methinks you're not a "decrepit old geezer" if you can run 5k and in 30 minutes! Really well done. Enjoy that holiday and running along the beach. Bliss.

Less decrepit than when I started C25K anyway!

Congratulations! A double whammy - 5k PB and graduation. What better a place to celebrate than Greece.
